Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Celebratory Events (“we”, “us”) organises school proms and social events in Egypt and provides this portal so students can pay for their event. These terms form an agreement between you and Celebratory Events.

2. Accounts & eligibility

To use the portal you must create an account with accurate details and verify your email address and phone number. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity on your account.

Many event attendees are secondary-school students who may be under 18. If you are under the age of legal majority, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms and consents to the payments made through your account.

3. School codes

Your school provides a unique code that links your account to your school’s event and pricing. Keep it confidential and use only the code issued to you. We may deactivate codes that are shared or misused.

4. Payments & installments

• Each school has a fixed total price (the “grand total”) for its event, shown in your dashboard in Egyptian Pounds (EGP).
• You may pay in scheduled installments or in full. Each installment has a due date and amount set by us for your school.
• Your remaining balance decreases as confirmed payments are received.
• Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.

5. Late or missed payments

We may send reminders before and after due dates. Continued non-payment may affect your participation in the event. Any consequences of missed payments will be communicated by your school or by us.

6. Refunds

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the portal, attempt to access other users’ data, disrupt the service, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

8. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or that we reasonably believe are fraudulent. You may close your account by contacting us, subject to any outstanding obligations.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep the portal available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update or change features at any time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the portal. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Egyptian courts.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date.
